Champions for the Voiceless Since 1989 Founded more than 30 years ago, Greek Animal Rescue is a registered UK charity run entirely by a dedicated team of unpaid volunteers. Their longevity speaks to their unyielding commitment to alleviating the suffering of abused, abandoned, and neglected animals across Greece.
More Than Just Rescues While GAR helps find loving homes for many animals in the UK and beyond, their impact goes much deeper. They understand that to truly solve the stray crisis, we must address the root causes. That is why their primary focus is on funding and coordinating mass sterilization campaigns—the most effective humane way to reduce the stray population.
